Strengtening Feminist Voices – Critical Masculinity and Male Allyship Act.ival ’25
6-hour Workshop at Act.ival for Future 2025 at Media Docks in Lübeck
Antifeminism is a growing challenge, appearing in political debates, online spaces, and daily interactions. How can we dismantle antifeminist narratives? What role does critical masculinity play? How can male allies actively support gender justice? This session will provide practical tools and argumentation strategies.
Workshop Goals
- Learn about male monocultures and dominant masculinity norms
- Reflect on toxic and fragile masculinities
- Explore caring and inklusive forms of masculinity
- Understand male privilege and its everyday impact
- Gain skills on being a supportive male ally
- Develop strategies to detox and reshape masculinity
During the Act.ival for Future, you will meet up with more the 200 young people from all over Europe to learn, exchange ideas and inspire each other. You will engage in workshops and debates which will offer you interesting insights into a variety of issues connected to social justice and inspire you to act!
Discussions, workshops, games, parties and much more will get you into the festival spirit of this unique event. You can expect a diverse and unique program. We are organising the Act.ival with the vision to empower you to get informed, take a stand and act!
